NFL Week 13 Picks

Hello again Football fans. Another week is in the books, and the nation learned where both the Saints and the Patriots sit within the hierachy of teams this season.  So with a new week, comes new lines.  So as always, Jonah and I pick against the spread. We keep track of overall record as well as week by week. Whoever has the losing weekly record after the Super Bowl will have (what looks like Chili) dumped on him, while being video taped, WHICH WILL BE POSTED TO THE BLOG! So with that said The Manchise welcomes in Week 13, with both of our favorite teams going head to head against each other.

Thursday Night:

New York Jets (-3) at Buffalo Bills (+3):
Jonah-TO has come on strong and you gotta love the reality TV show, but Revis is a man and I think he will shut him down. I don’t love the J-E-T-S Jets, Jets, Jets, but I really don’t love Ryan Fitzpatrick or any part of the Bills offense so I will take the Jets to cover.
Jerry-Offense is still slow, but as I said last week the Defense is in the top 5 in the league. The D keeps them in the game, Jets cover.

Sunday:

Philadelphia Eagles (-6) at Atlanta Falcons (+6):
Jonah-Falcons are down Matt Ryan and Michael Turner, Eagles are down Brian Westbrook and DeSean Jackson. I think the Eagles are just a better team, like better by at least a TD.
Jerry-This is tough because we don't know what we will get out of back-up quarterback Chris Redman. Both teams need a win, I think the Eagles need it more.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers (+6.5) at Carolina Panthers (-6.5):
Jonah-Does someone have to win this game? At least the Panthers have a run game and I think they cover.
Jerry-No Jake Delhomme= big game for DeAngelo Williams.

St. Louis Rams (+9) at Chicago Bears (-9):
Jonah-Wow, battle of our two teams. My Rams have been showing me they at least care about growing a team over the next decade and the Bears haven’t looked great. I think I might finally take my Rams. Not saying they will win, just think they can keep it close.
Jerry-Vegas is giving the Bears a ton of credit! But I can't bet against them two weeks in a row. Bears win by 10.

Detroit Lions (+13) at Cincinnati Bengals (-13):
Jonah-This line is a little high for my liking, but Detroit is just not any good. I’ll take the Bengals.
Jerry-Oh bother.... I don't know what to do here. Part of me thinks the Lions can hang within 13, but I just can't do it. Bengals cover.

Tennessee Titans (+7) at Indianapolis Colts (-7):
Jonah-If Peyton has taught me anything this year, it’s that you never, ever bet against the man. Down 17 early last week and as I said via text at that very moment, he came back to win. The Colts stay unbeaten and I keep making money on Peyton THEE Manning.
Jerry- I love VY and Chris Johnson, Titans give the Colts all they can handle.

New England Patriots (-5) at Miami Dolphins (+5):
Jonah-You wouldn’t like Bill Belichick when he’s mad – Pats by at least a TD (although I’m praying Ricky just goes nuts)
Jerry-Brady shreds the Miami secondary.

Houston Texans at Jacksonville Jaguars (Pick 'em):
Jonah-The Jags don’t have a ton of firepower, but the have MJD and that’s enough for me.
Jerry-This game is tricky, the Jags are not that good, and Houston is a really good 3-quarter team. I'll take the Texans.

Denver Broncos (-5) at Kansas City Chiefs (+5):
Jonah-The Broncos are fighting for a playoff spot, the Chiefs are not. Anyone going to take the Chiefs? I know I’m not.
Jerry-Arrowhead isn't what it used to be. Broncos got this game.

Oakland Raiders at Pittsburgh Steelers:
This game doesn't have a line yet, Vegas is waiting to see if Big Ben will play or not.

New Orleans Saints (9.5) at Washington Redskins (+9.5):
Jonah-Although the Saints beat up on New England on Monday night, I could see a little let down here. Short week, on the road, playing a team that’s not very good. I think they win and even cover, but I think Vegas is pretty close on this one.
Jerry- Who Dat? It's the Saints giving it to the Redskins!

San Diego Chargers (-13) at Cleveland Browns (+13):
Jonah-Cleveland plays well against Cincinnati and that’s about it. I’ll take the Chargers.
Jerry-The Chargers are hot right now. Brady Quinn is going to have a bad day.

Dallas Cowboys (-2.5) at New York Giants (+2.5):
Jonah-Eli isn’t playing like a Manning and the Cowboys are trying to get back on track. I’ll take them by at least a FG.
Jerry-I am having a hard time betting on Romo in New York. Giants win.

San Francisco 49ers at Seattle Seahawks (Pick 'em):
Jonah-I don’t get that warm and fuzzy feeling about this one, but I’m taking the Seahawks for fantasy reasons (Justin Forsett, I NEED you this week)
Jerry-I love the Niners!

Minnesota Vikings at Arizona Cardinals (There isn't a line yet, waiting on Warner)

Monday Night:

Baltimore Ravens (+3) at Green Bay Packers (-3):
Jonah-Baltimore doesn’t have the same D they used to, but GB just gives up sacks to everyone. I’ll take the Ravens.
Jerry-Ray Lewis and Ed Reed have a hay day on this week offensive line (that has looked a little bit better).
