As I sit here anxiously awaiting the start of Game 3 tonight, numerous questions are running through my mind. Some about the Hawks, some about the other series going on, and one about the place the Canucks call home. I would like to take this opportunity to offer these questions up to our readers out there. If anyone has the answers feel free to enlighten me in the comments section below.
1. When are you going to break out Mr. Hossa? 1 goal thus far in 8 games after posting about 1 every other game during the season? I’m no probability and statistics expert, but shouldn’t you be exploding with a hat trick sometime soon?
2. Is Duncan Keith going to make Drew Doughty a shoe in for the Norris? It’s pretty safe to say that in addition to playing his Capitals into the off season, Mike Green all but eliminated himself from Norris contention. Even though the ‘Nucks took out LA, Doughty played a major role in LA’s wins, posting multiple point games and making it obvious he was the best defender out on the ice. Duncan Keith has by no means been bad in this series, but wouldn’t it be nice for him to rise up to his resume and show the world why he might be taking home some hardware at the NHL awards?
3. Will the real Troy Brouwer please stand up? After having a breakout season Troy Brouwer has vanished in the postseason. Personally, I never understood why he was taken away from Kane and Toews but that’s beside the point. I’m not asking for much, just make me notice you. 1 point and 8 hits tonight and I will be off your back.
4. Can San Jose really sweep Detroit?
5. Why is the General Motors Place in Canada?
Now that those are my off my chest I can settle down and prepare for a great night of hockey.
GO HAWKS!!! I look forward to checking back after the game for some answers to these questions…
***One last note, I would like to extend a glorious welcome to one of Chicago’s most infamous sports bloggers, King Xerxes. He has somehow found his way to The Manchise, offering thoughts that could make a Chicago sports historian go back and check his notes. Whether it’s the Hawks, Cubs, Sox, or Bears, the King is always looking to offer his opinion and take on anyone who dares to disagree.

Damned glad to be here Mr. Host.
I want to answer the question before it's even asked:
"Because this is an up and coming Chicago sports blog, and I to be one of the paramount contributors to it, They have a biting perspective, and Ol' King Xerxes is right at home with this."
Now - Why is General Motor Place in Canada? I'm not sure of that, but I am sure of this; After the Blackhawks are done spanking these wads over the next two games, they'll be more hope in an old share of General Motors common stock then there will be in these Vancouver ass clowns.
Blackhawks = ORIGINAL SIX
Canucks = (A) A Canadian cartoon character known as Johnny Canuck (B) A crappy NHL expansion team in 1970 - still trying to be as good as the Buffalo Sabres.
Nice start with a goal.
Luongo has been solved, and the Canuck fans are now longing for the Dunc Wilson days to return.
3 1, Versteeg, Buff, and Buff, looks like my prediction of the secondary scoring picking up is holding true.
